Cheap Holidays for a family of 6? NEED HELP!?

Right so I'm part of a family of 6 (4 kids 2 adults) but since I'm over 12 I'd be classed as an adult. We would like to go on holiday to Florida because we know someone with a holiday home there but the price for the flights is over �3000!! Does anyone know of a cheaper flight ( to Florida or round about it and we could drive in?) If not does anyone know of cheap flights to hot, sunny places abroad? (I live in the UK)
