Is there a word for someone who has a lot of animals but takes care of them?

i know animal hoarders have a huge amount of animals but fail to realize that they don't have the ability to take care of all of them. is there a word for a person who has a huge amount of animals but has the ability to take care of them/loves them all/the animals get as much love, attention, and needs that they need? also if this person who takes care of the animals is a misanthrope(hates the human race) and just stays with their animals all day :) find me a word for that??
