Is it a cavity or a stain?

i was looking at my teeth the other day and i found a little black line on the side of my tooth where there is an indent on my molar. im not sure if it is a cavity or not because i have become a very good brusher and i am going to the dentist tomorrow but i hate the dentsst so im hoping it is not a cavity. do you guys have any idea on what it could be?
