My prom is a week tomorrow and I have a scab on my face from a previous spot .. Ways to get rid of this?

Any ways in which I can get rid of the scab more quickly, without peeling it off and leaving a scar? Also It's a bit weird cause its sort of indented rather than raised which I'm finding odd..
