Should I trust this woman?

Ok, so my brother hoarded a bunch of cats, and after not being able to find homes for them, I ended up calling this woman, whose shelter I found online. My cats also got ringworm, and she took the one with the worst ringworm. She seemed like a very decent, normal, down to earth person. Every time she went to the vet, with the cat I gave her, I went as well, and the cat seemed to be doing better. She was washing the cat and the cat was at her place. So months after, I google her, and I end up finding horrific pictures of her shelter, where the dogs are covered in mud, where they're attacking, eating each other's carcasses, just horrible horrible stuff. So now it's really hard for me to reconcile the person I met and this new revelation. So should I get my cat back? She keeps my cat in her apartment, and she's always talking about how it's a lovely cat, but I just don't know what to think. I was shocked when I saw the pictures, especially since she seemed so normal, and because she said that animals are her life. By the way I'm in Eastern Europe, so it's bit different here. But yea, if my cat is in her home, is it safe from the brutality of her shelters or no? Thanks for any input. Plus if I want my cat back, I don't even know how I'll get it, especially if she's a hoarder, and doesn't want to give it up.
